Luke Bertram

Lead Podiatrist

Luke specialises in assessing, treating and managing everything foot and ankle. Because the foot is my area, knowing what is happening further up the leg and body is pretty important. Looking at how the body moves while walking and running gives me a big insight into how the body is impacting on the foot or how the foot is impacting on the body.

After growing up in Bowral NSW and a year playing Rugby in Sydney, Luke studied Podiatry at Charles Sturt University in Albury. His early Podiatry career saw me work in hospitals in Australia and the UK focusing on high risk foot management. He then moved into the field of lower limb sports injuries and biomechanics working in Private Clinics with amateur to elite athletes of all ages in Queensland and NSW.

Luke has been a Rugby and Cricket player for most of his life, but injuries took their toll after a while. So he can relate pretty well to most people that come to see us. Now Luke has replaced his footy boots for cycling cleats and cricket bat for a golf club.
